Nature. Design.

There are three airports in Oslo – main International airport is Oslo Lufthavn located at Gardermoen (47 km from the City Centre). Once you get to the City Centre you’ll notice amazing architecture and nature around. Probably the most famous building in the City is the Oslo Opera House (Norwegian: Operahuset). The roof of the building angles to ground level, creating impression to majestic floating Iceberg. Pedestrians can walk up to the peak and enjoy the panoramic views of Oslo. It is great to see how Architecture can be in a harmony with the Nature. It seems that the Nature inspires Engineers how to draw a line in their projects.

Touristm with the Nature.

To almost every attractions in the region you can go with public transport. Metro and ferries are very convenient to use during your exploration. You can get explore beautiful surroundings. The most impressive thing for me is that you can actually get to the forest and hiking trails, mountains, ski resorts by metro. First touristic spot will be the Holmenkollen (Ski Jump Tower) from where you can start exploring trails and ski resorts.

Nordic Taste

I didn’t have chance to taste everything what this region has to offer yet, but for sure there is a couple interesting spots on the culinary map with delicious Nordic cuisine.
